The JAZZLAB ORCHESTRA celebrates its 20th anniversary in the 2024-2025 season, shattering the boundaries of orchestral jazz.

Over the course of its career, the ensemble has developed a unique repertoire of original works, with world-class Quebec artists contributing to each project. As a result, the collective's activities focus mainly on specific productions conceived for or by its own personnel.

With a series of over 400 concerts in Canada and abroad, taking part in a multitude of major jazz festivals and artistic events on several continents, JAZZLAB ORCHESTRA has released 8 album projects, all acclaimed by critics at home and abroad, and 40 special shows in collaboration with international artists François Théberge, Stéphane Belmondo, Ted Nash, Zhao Ke, Rufus Reid, Don Thompson, Donny McCaslin, Reg Schwager, Mark Feldman, Rafael Zaldivar, François Bourassa, Jocelyn Ménard, Toine Thys, Fulvio Albano, and most recently Greg Lamy and Claudia Chan Tak.

The Jazzlab is made up of multi-instrumentalists Annie Dominique, Claire Devlin and Mario Allard; trumpeter Jacques Kuba Seguin; trombonist Thomas Morelli-Bernard; pianist Félix Stussi; Alain Bédard on double bass and drummer Michel Lambert. As usual, the JAZZLAB will be full of surprises.
